UCP’s Quality department focuses on two approaches: quality control and quality assurance. Whereas quality control focuses on monitoring and maintaining UCP’s high level of quality in the ongoing delivery of UCP’s products and services, quality assurance focuses on ensuring that UCP’s operations are always on the leading edge of food safety principles as well as regulatory requirements.

Additionally, UCP works on a positive release system where product lots are only released after they are thoroughly checked to ensure they conform to the highest quality standards.
