UCP was founded, being a melting station of cocoa
liquor and butter for the chocolate industry.

-1998:

UCP's operations were upgraded into a full
cocoa bean processing facility. With a new larger plant
and additional equipment UCP extended its presence
in the overall cocoa industry value chain, procuring
cocoa beans and supplying cocoa liquor, cocoa butter
and cocoa cake. With a capacity of processing 4 million
pounds of cocoa beans per month, UCP has sold to many
of the leading companies in the chocolate industry.

UCP once again extended it's manufacturing capabilities, now into the production of cocoa powder.
